Why Beacon Finch

Considered, not commercial

Our approach is shaped around the learner's pace, not a sales target.

Your pace, not ours

Every programme is structured around intervals that give you time to absorb, reflect, and return with questions.

Small groups only

Group sessions are capped at eight so each participant receives genuine attention and space to ask questions without pressure.

Written records provided

Where appropriate, engagements close with a short written summary — a document the household keeps and refers back to over time.

Confidential setting

Conversations about personal finances require a quiet, trusted space. Everything discussed in sessions remains entirely between us.

Kuala Lumpur studio or video

One-to-one sessions can be conducted at our Keramat studio or by video call — whichever feels more comfortable for you.

Grounded in fundamentals

No complex instruments, no speculative ideas. We work with the foundations of personal finance — savings, cash flow, and understanding what you hold.

Would a quiet conversation help?

If you are not sure which programme suits your situation, write to us or call. We will take the time to understand where you are before making any suggestion.

Questions

Things people ask us

Do I need any financial knowledge before joining a programme?

None at all. The Adult Learner's programme and the Small Savings Light are both designed for people who are starting from scratch or returning to the topic after a long gap. There is no assumed knowledge and no wrong questions.

How are the programmes delivered?

One-to-one engagements such as the Small Savings Light and the Household Reading Engagement can be held at our Keramat studio in Kuala Lumpur or over a video call. The six-week group programme takes place at the studio on a scheduled weekly evening.

What is the difference between the group programme and the household engagement?

The Adult Learner's programme covers financial literacy topics in a structured, educational format alongside a small group. The Household Reading Engagement is a private, three-month engagement that works directly with your household's own documents and financial position — it is more personal and more reflective in character.

Are the fees inclusive of all materials?

Yes. All programme fees include reading materials, worksheets, and — for the Household Reading Engagement — the written summary document. There are no additional material costs.

How do I know which programme is right for me?

The simplest way is to write to us or call. We are happy to spend a few minutes understanding your situation before suggesting which programme — if any — would be a sensible fit. There is no obligation in having that conversation.

Is my personal financial information kept confidential?

Completely. What you share in sessions stays within the session. For the household engagement in particular, all documents and financial details you bring are handled with full discretion and are not shared with any third party.
